Takahiro Sunada

Takahiro Sunada (Japanese砂 田 贵 裕, Takahiro Sunada, born 19 January 1973) is a former Japanese marathon and ultramarathon runners.

In 1992, he presented with 2:15:30 hours in Hōfu the current Japanese junior record in the marathon on. In 1995 he won the silver medal in 2:13:16 behind Douglas Wakiihuri the IAAF World Cup in Athens Marathon. In the same year he finished tenth in the Fukuoka Marathon in 2:12:01 and 1996 same place ninth in 2:13:01.

In 1998 he presented the Saroma Lake Ultra Marathon with 6:13:33 hours at the current world record in the 100 - km road race. In 1999 he won the bronze medal in the IAU 100km World Cup in the 100 km de Vendée ( Chavagnes -en- Paillers ) in 6:26:06 and was eighth in Fukuoka in 2:11:03.

In 2000, he ran the 100 - mile run from Belvès 6:17:17 with the fourth fastest ever recorded time over this distance and finished fourth at the Berlin Marathon in his personal best of 2:10:07.
