Tanneguy Duchâtel

Charles Marie Tanneguy, comte Duchâtel ( born February 19, 1803 in Paris, † November 6, 1867 ibid ) was a French statesman.

Duchâtel studied law, and was involved since 1823 under the aegis of the Party of doctrinaire to the journals the "Globe " and the "Revue francaise ", and was named after the July Revolution of State ( Conseiller d' État ) in the Ministry of Finance under Louis -Philippe, lost but by the ministers change from October 11, 1832 his office, then came as a deputy for the department of Charente -Maritime in the chamber and 1834 as trade Minister ( Ministre de l'Agriculture et du Commerce ) to the cabinet from which in February 1836, he with the other doctrinaire retired.
