Tašov

Tašov ( German Taschow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers southeast of Usti nad Labem and north of Litoměřice and belongs to Okres Ústí nad Labem.

Geography

Tašov located in rechtselbischen part of the Bohemian Central Mountains in the source basin of the creek Proboštovský creek. To the east rises the Panna ( 594 m ) southeast of the Babinský vrch (551 m ) south of the Špičák (608 m ) southwest of the Varhošť ( 639 m ) in the west of Kamenný vrch (656 m) and north-west the Kukla ( 673 m).

Neighboring towns are Pohoří and Horni Zálezly in the north, Proboštov in the northeast, Řetouň in the east, Ovcarna, Rýdeč and Staňkovice the southeast, Babiny I and Lbín in the south, Čeřeniště the southwest, Němčí in the west and Malečov in the northwest.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1188. 1515 the brothers Hans, Wolf and Friedrich von Salhausen on Wehlen bought the goods. In the 1522 division of property made ​​by Hans received Salhausen Malschen, Nemschen, swaths and Great Billed. From 1580 was Friedrich the Younger of Salhausen owner of the village. At the beginning of the 18th century Taschow belonged to the lords of adhesive mountain. 1708 bought George Benedict of Ogilvy the reigns Taschow and Zahorzan. Two years later his only son Hermann Carl von Ogilvy inherited the property.

After the abolition of patrimonial Taschow / Tašov formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Leitmeritz. Taschow had in 1930 194 inhabitants, most of whom were German. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 the community was added to the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district Leitmeritz. 1939 the community had 180 inhabitants. In 1945 Tašov back to Czechoslovakia, the German inhabitants were expelled. 1948, the community was the Okres Ústí nad Labem - okolí and 1961 the Okres Ústí nad Labem assigned. Between 1980 and 1990 Tašov was incorporated to Malečov.

  • Chapel in the village square
  • Pilgrimage chapel Maria Magdalena, built in 1705 by Niklas Kleber mountain. Legend has it that in 1580 have been donated to the site by Friedrich von Salhausen and his brother first chapel. The southeast of the village in a grove on the road to Rýdeč seasoned chapel was restored in 2000.
