Telephone numbers in Namibia

The telephone prefixes in Namibia are organized and awarded by the Namibian Communications Commission (NCC ). This went on in the new, independent Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia ( CRAN ) on 18 May 2011.

The selection of a Namibian phone number from abroad is done as follows:

In the fixed network can be a number in the same area code are dialed without the area code.

The area code for area code numbers in the Namibian telephone network start with the number 06:

  • { 065 north of the administrative region Kunene, Ohangwena addition, Omusati, Oshana and Oshikoto }
