Teresa Villaverde
Teresa Villaverde Cabral Morais ( born May 18, 1966 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese film director.
Career
She played a student in theater groups before they went mid-1980s to Prague to study film. In between, she was an actress for João César Monteiro front of the camera, in his film " On the sea " ( Á Flor do Mar, 1986). She was then an assistant for Paulo Rocha (1987) and wrote the script with João Canijo for his film Filha da Mãe (1989).
In 1991 she made her first film, which co-produced by ZDF " At the end of childhood " (A Idade Maior ). The Director assisted Sérgio Tréfaut and Maria de Medeiros, who also took on a role. Besides Medeiros played a number of other well-known actor with, the American Vincent Gallo (of Pedro Hestnes synchronized), Isabel Ruth and Joaquim de Almeida. With her film tranny she took in 2006 of the issue of forced prostitution. A young Russian woman crosses Europe, with the goal in Portugal to find a better life.
