Production

The Diary of Alicia Keys is the second album by American R & B singer Alicia Keys. It was first released by the label J Records on December 1, 2003. Alicia Keys won three Grammys with The Diary of Alicia Keys. The album sold in the United States about four million times, around eight million copies were sold worldwide.

In addition, a DVD of the same name was published on 3 January 2005.

Special Limited Edition

The Special Limited Edition of the album was released on 8 December 2004 and, in addition, the bonus DVD The Diary. On the European version of the song "Streets of New York" is also included with Nas and Rakim, which contains a sample of the song " New York State of Mind" by Nas from the year 1994 ( from his album Illmatic ).

Alicia Keys of Soul Train Award was presented already in 2004. She received him in the categories of Best Female R & B / Soul Album for The Diary of Alicia Keys, and Best Female R & B / Soul Single for " If I Is not Got You ". She won with this single also the Billboard Music Award in the R & B / Hip Hop Single of the Year and R & B / Hip Hop Airplay Single of the Year.
