Action

Collin Fenwick is eight years old when his mother died suddenly. Because his father is unable alone to care for the boy, he sends him to his two unmarried sisters in the province of Alabama: Verena, who always attaches importance to order and perfection, and Dolly, who always stood in the shadow of her older sister, but in her kitchen and her friends always felt most comfortable.
