Reviews

"Questions about the non Erzählbaren, after, true story ', as it is exposed at the beginning of the film - the plot is based on the fate of the Spanish family Belon - remain outside, The Impossible ' leaves them with his nasty emotional impact even arise not only does not make his problem. The not nearly similar pressure building up TV images from the past and dramatically pointed little Internet video of what happened is the film against a consistently condensed transplantation of the natural disaster in individually - physical suffering and its exhibition. Nothing is to think more outside. "

" The Impossible 'is a gripping and played effectively, but unilaterally staged disaster drama about the struggle for survival of a family. "

" A family witnessed the end of 2004 the killer tsunami in Southeast Asia - that suggests a disaster movie. Instead, was from The Impossible a rare intense drama with two incredibly strong main characters. Disappointingly, only to be constructed, and kitschy end. "
