Old Heidelberg (OT: Old Heidelberg) is an American comedy film directed by Ernst Lubitsch from the year 1927.

Action

In the Kingdom Karlburg is Karl Henry, the nephew of King Charles VII, 1890 Crown Prince. As a boy, he will be brought to the court and growing isolation from peers on. Only his tutor Dr. Friedrich Jüttner provides him the necessary balance and also gives him villainy. Background

The film is based on the novel by Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Meyer- Förster. MGM filmed the fabric again in 1954 with Mario Lanza and Ann Blyth.
