The Turn of a Friendly Card is a progressive rock album by British band The Alan Parsons Project and was published in 1980. The concept album deals with the topic gaming, and are roughly the story of a middle-aged man again, who become restless, then decided to go to the casino and there puts all his money on the line, only to eventually lose everything. Page 2 of the original vinyl LP consisted of the instrumental title The Gold Bug and a coherent piece of music, which is provided in older CD versions with index points and divided into the moderns in five individual titles. The Turn of a Friendly Card is also known by the extraction of moderate hits Games People Play and Time, where the latter Eric Woolfson debuted on the lead vocals.

All CD remasters of The Turn of a Friendly Card were adjusted in pitch, and thus brought to chamber pitch.
