Thees Uhlmann

Thees Uhlmann ( born April 16, 1974 in Hemmoor ) is a German musician and author. He is a founding member and lead singer of the band from Hamburg Tomte and he is also active as a solo artist.

Life

Already at school Uhlmann founded in the late 1980s the band, should emerge from the 1994 Tomte. After graduating from high school Warstade Hemmoor in 1993 Uhlmann began in 1996 a teaching degree in the subjects of politics and English at the University of Cologne. After two years he moved to the University of Hamburg. After the first successes with Tomte 2000 he broke off his studies.
