Theuville, Val-d'Oise

Theuville is a commune with 27 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise of the Ile- de -France region; it belongs to Arrondissement Pontoise and Canton Marines. The inhabitants " Theuvillois " or " Theuvilloises " call themselves.

Geography

The community Theuville located 37 kilometers northeast of Paris. It is located in the Regional Natural Park Vexin français.

Neighboring communities of Theuville are Bréançon in the West, Haravilliers the northwest, Arronville in the northeast, Menouville in the east, in the southeast Vallangoujard, Épiais - Rhus in the south and Grisy -les- Plâtres in the southwest.

1866, the railway line from Valmondois was inaugurated by Marines, was connected via the Theuville with Pontoise and Paris. This line was discontinued in 1949.

Gallo - Roman remains bear witness to an early settlement of the place.
