Thomas Lance

Thomas Glasson Lance ( born June 14, 1891 in St. Pancras, † February 29, 1976 in Brighton ) was an English racing cyclist and Olympic champion.

At the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp Thomas Lance won with Harry Ryan the gold medal in the tandem race.

Lance and Ryan started together for the club Polytechnic Cycling Club, Ryan as front - and Lance as a man behind. Shortly before the Olympics featured on the two new British record over a quarter of a mile.

After his cycling career was Thomas Lance Bookmakers in Brighton.
