Tomáš Abrahám

Tomáš Abrahám ( born April 18, 1979 in Třebíč, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech football player.

Career

Tomáš Abrahám played in his youth for Sokol Hrotovice and FC Slavia Třebíč. At age 16, the defensive midfielder moved to FC Boby Brno, where he made his debut in the season 1998/99 in the first team. The following season he was loaned to third division Tatran Poštorná. Then he returned to Brno, but made only one game in the 2000 /01 season. He was loaned to the Slovakian first division club FK AS Trenčín, where he played only twice.

Mid-2002 returned Abrahám back to Brno, where he could eventually prevail. In two years he missed only one championship game. In 2004 he was committed by the Turkish first division club Denizlispor, where he is one of the pillars of the team.

Beginning of February 2009 Abrahám moved on loan to the Greek first division side Skoda Xanthi, after he had previously refused to extend his contract ending in June 2009. In June 2009 Abrahám moved to the Czech first division promoted 1.FC Slovácko.Dort he played 22 times and scored one goal. After a year he left the newly promoted and moved to Austrian Bundesliga promoted Wacker Innsbruck. He is currently the captain of Wacker Innsbruck.
