Tomáš Zmoray

Tomáš Zmoray (* 26 July 1989 in Banská Bystrica ) is a Slovak ski jumper. " Zmordy " as he is called, jumps for the ŠK Kartik Banská Bystrica.

Career

His first two World Cup starts he made in Pragelato on the Olympic hill of 2006 on 13 and 14 December 2008, when he was 47th and 56th of 50 and 61 starters. His greatest achievement was winning the jumping in the Continental Cup on 7 February 2009 at the Wielka Krokiew in Zakopane at a Continentalcupspringen, where he won in a competition of 83 jumpers before Borek Sedlák Czech and Marcin Bachleda from Poland. At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver Zmoray different than just 42 from the qualification of the normal hill. On the large hill, he qualified for the competition and was 43

In March 2008 Zmoray was Slovakian champion in Štrbské Pleso first time. This track he could win again two years later in his birth town of Banská Bystrica.

In the 2010/11 season he won the overall ranking of the FIS Cup.

Private & Trivia

Zmoray is a student, besides still plays tennis and enjoys listening to music, he lives in his home town of Banská Bystrica. Zmorays skis are Elan, its binding of the Silvretta and his jump boots by Adidas.
