Torey Thomas

Torey Thomas (born 26 February 1985 in White Plains, New York) is a professional American basketball player.

Career

College

His time spent College Thomas at Holy Cross in the NCAA. In the Drafts 2007 Torey Thomas was not drafted.

Professional time

In the same year Thomas signed his first professional contract. After a few games in the Turkish championship him an average of 25.6 points per game succeeded in the 2007/ 08 season in the Swedish Championship with acropolis BBK in 22 games. After two more years in the Netherlands and Venezuela him with Turow Zgorzelec in Poland succeeded in 2011, the first success as a finalist of the Polish Championship. Thomas was named Most Valuable Player of the main round of the PLK 2010/11. In the season 2011/12, Thomas moved to Russia, where he played for Spartak Primorye Vladivostok. With Spartak the final of the Russian Cup 2012 reached. In September 2012, he joined the Serbian series champion ULEB Euro League team Partizan Belgrade. After the contract was terminated after a few weeks, Thomas moved to the end of 2012 in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A for Scavolini Pesaro. This finished the season as the table next to last and prevented the descent only because there was only a promoted next season. In the following season 2013/14, Thomas tried again early in the season in the Türkiye Ligi Basketbol at Aliağa Petkim from Izmir. After two championship operations of the club renounced the further services of Thomas and this was a fixed-term contract with the French club Le Mans Sarthe Basket as Injury replacement of DaShaun Wood. After the contract ended in January 2014, Thomas joined the club from Cholet, a league rival in the French LNB Pro A.
