The Toro Rosso STR5 is an official appointed by the Scuderia Toro Rosso in the 2010 Formula 1 race car.

Dangers, the car was, as already last year's model, Sébastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari.

The vehicle was the first Formula 1 car, which was developed by the team after its acquisition by Red Bull Racing the end of 2005 itself. The cars of the years 2006 to 2009 had used the same chassis as the parent team Red Bull Racing. Responsible designers of the STR5 were Giorgio Ascanelli and Ben Butler. Was powered by a 2.4 -liter eight-cylinder engine ( Tipo 056), which is supplied by Scuderia Ferrari.

The STR5 was introduced on 1 February 2010 in Valencia, where the first test drives took place.
