Třemošnice

Třemošnice ( German Tremoschnitz ) is a city in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers southeast of Čáslav and belongs to Okres Chrudim.

Geography

Třemošnice located at the western foot of the Iron Mountains on Bach Zlatý Potok. To the north rises the Stráně ( 544 m) and in the southeast the Kaňkova hora (538 ). To the northeast lies the castle Lichnice. West flows the Doubrava.

History

The first mention of the court Třemošský took place in 1564 in the country as part of a table inheritance contract between the brothers Albrecht Wenzel and robes main Sucha ( Robmhap ze Suché ), in which the latter was awarded the courtyard.
