Trento–Venice railway
The railway line Trento-Venice is an Italian branch line that connects the major Italian cities of Trento and Venice.
The route is operated by RFI, is single-track and on the section Bassano del Grappa - Venice electrified with 3000 V DC.
History
On April 27, 1896, the so-called " Valsuganabahn " between Trento and the place Tezze was opened at the Italian border. The route to the Italian side was taken 1908-1910 in operation. Thus, a frontier station was built in Primolano.
