Triumph Daytona 675

The Daytona 675 is a super sports motorcycle category of the British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph.

It was introduced in 2006 in the German market and easy for the 2009 model year revised for the first time.

Technology

Triumph is the only manufacturer in the Supersport class on a liquid- cooled inline three-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. For the mixture preparation provides an electronic multi-point fuel injection, a flap control in the intake and the exhaust tract for powerful torque already at low and medium engine speed range. A balancer shaft keeps concept -induced vibration in check.

The chassis consists of an aluminum bridge frame, a fully adjustable 41 mm upside-down fork and a stiff aluminum dual swing arm with one, articulated via a lever system, fully adjustable central strut. A standard steering damper suppresses kickback ( " kickback" ) effective.

The Daytona 675 has a powerful brake system with 308 mm brake discs at the front two, radially mounted 4- piston fixed calipers NISSIN and a finely metered radial brake pump.

The facelift for the 2009 model year include the following:

  • Separate adjustment of compression damping in the low- and high- speed section at the front and rear suspension
  • Increase the output to 92 kW / 125 hp at 12.500/min
  • Weight reduction by three kg to 162 kg dry weight
  • New Nissin 4-piston monobloc radial brake calipers front
  • Revised mapping of the engine management
  • Replacing some engine parts with parts from the Racing Kit
  • Hydraulic timing chain tensioner
  • Slight visual changes.
