Trojan Records
Trojan Records is an independent record label from the UK, based in London, which specializes in ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub of Jamaican musicians. Trojan is the oldest international label, which only publishes music by Jamaican artists.
History
Trojan Records was founded on July 28, 1967 by the two Englishmen Lee Gopthal, one of the leaders of Iceland Records and Chris Blackwell as an independent record label.

Among the artists whose recordings are at least temporarily, published by Trojan Records include, inter alia, Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, The Ethiopians, John Holt, Toots & the Maytals ( The Maytals ), The Pioneers, The Upsetters, Dennis Brown, Nicky Thomas, Boris Gardiner, Symarip, Ken Boothe, Bob & Marcia, Judge Dread, Dandy Livingstone, Rico Rodriguez, Mikey Dread, Greyhound, The Skatalites, Susan Cadogan, Scotty, Dave & Ansel Collins, Inner Circle and Bob Marley & the Wailers.
In particular Trojan Records brings many compilations, each with about 50 pieces spread out on each of 3 CDs.
