Troy Garity
Troy Garity, Troy O'Donovan Hayden actually (born 7 July 1973 in Los Angeles, California ) is an American actor.
Life
Garity was born the son of a politician Tom Hayden and actress Jane Fonda. Thus he is a grandson of acting legend Henry Fonda. His maternal grandmother, Frances Seymour Brokaw Fonda could, their pedigree to Edward Seymour, brother of Jane Seymour, one of the many wives of King Henry VIII, to trace. He took for his film career later the last name of his paternal grandmother to. The Christian name had given him his politically active parents against the Vietnam War in honor of a Vietnamese resistance fighter.
With 16 years Garity broke off his education and traveled to a circus performer, in which he had fallen in love. Garity played so far mainly small roles in movies. In 2004 he received a Golden Globe nomination for the lead role in the TV movie Soldier's Girl. In 2007 he was seen in a supporting role in the film Eichmann next Franka Potente and Thomas Kretschmann.
Like his parents Garity also acts as a peace activist and social work.
