Trust (electronics company)

Trust International B. V. is a Dutch group of companies based in Dordrecht. The German subsidiary Trust Germany GmbH is headquartered in the Lower Rhine Kleve.

Business

The company was originally founded in 1981 under the name Aashima and imported initially computer accessories, games consoles and video games. In 1985 the company developed with joysticks, the first own products. In 1988, the first foreign branch offices were established in Germany, England, Italy and France. 1993 The son of the founder, Michel Perridon changed, the original company name in Trust and built this brand from then on.

The group currently has 19 offices in Europe and Asia, and employs around 250 people, with the bulk of the production has been outsourced to China the world. In 2010, sales totaled approximately 250 million euro, which it generates, especially in the low-price segment.

The company sells mice, graphic tablets and keyboards, webcams, accessories for laptops, audio equipment for the PC sector and products for gamers.

Sponsorship in Motorsport

Trust supported since 2003, Formula One teams, including Minardi, Jordan and Spyker. In the 2009 season Trust acted as sponsor of the racing team Red Bull Racing. The driver wore during this season, the Trust logo on their helmets, in addition, five computer mice designed in collaboration with Red Bull Racing.

Trust in the Champ Car season 2007 was a sponsor of the Minardi Team USA. As merged by the end of the season, the Champ Car World Series with the IndyCar Series, it ended his engagement there.

During the 2008 season, the company is engaged in the GP2 team Arden International as the main sponsor, which occurred during this season under the name Trust Team Arden.

In addition to the commitment as a team sponsor, the company supported various, mainly Dutch racing driver Renger van der Zande, Albers and Jos Verstappen.

The end of 2009, the company ended any sponsorship activities.
