Tumbarumba Shire

Tumbarumba is located in the southeast of the state on the Murray River on the border with Victoria about 120 km as the crow southwest of the Australian capital Canberra and 470 km north-east of Melbourne. The area includes 44 districts and towns, including Courabyra, Geehi, Greg Greg, Khancoban, Mannus, Munderoo, Ournie, Tooma, Tumbarumba and Welaregang and parts of Jingellic and Rosewood. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Tumbarumba in the northwest of the LGA, where about 1,500 inhabitants.

Management

The Tumbarumba Shire Council has eight members who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Tumbarumba is not divided into districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
