TVP Sport

TVP Sport is a Polish sports TV channel of the public broadcaster TVP. The transmitter is the second thematic channel of TVP and launched on 18 November 2006. TVP Sport is broadcast via satellite on the Polish digital pay-TV platforms n, Cyfrowy Polsat and Cyfra , IPTV at Orange Polska as well as on cable.

Initial concepts for a public sports channel there was in December 2004. Initially, the first broadcast was set to September / October 2006. On 14 April 2006, the station received a broadcasting license from the KRRiT. On January 12, 2014, the HD version of the channel launched.
