Týniště nad Orlicí

Týniště nad Orlicí ( German Tinischt ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It is located 19 km east of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Rychnov nad Kněžnou.

Geography

Týniště nad Orlicí is located on the right side of the eagle on the High Brucker panel ( Třebechovické tabule ). Around the city there are extensive pine forests, north lies a military compound. One and a half kilometers south of the city flow the silence and Wild eagle together.

Neighboring towns are Lipiny and Bolehošťská Lhota in the north, Vyhnanice, Křivice and Ostašovice in the northeast, Rašovice in the east, Dlouhá Louka, Lipa nad Orlicí and Chotiv the southeast, Svetla, Tůmovka and Zdar nad Orlicí in the south, Albrechtice nad Orlicí the southwest, Borek and Štěpanovsko in the west and Petrovičky and Petro Vice in the northwest.

The town is bypassed to the south of the state road I/11 between Hradec Králové and Vamberk. In the north of the channel Vantroka runs. In Týniště the Railroads Chlumetz tick the Zidlina - Mittelwalde ( Chlumec nad Cidlinou - Międzylesie ) and Choceň - Meziměstí. In addition, a branch line leads into the military area

History

Settlement of the area began in the 11th century. It is believed that Týniště has been raised in 1300 to a little town. While the district Štěpánovsko occupied since 1336, the town Týniště was first mentioned in 1361. It was then owned by the Sezema Dobruška. His son Stephan / Stepan of Opočno sold it in 1390 to the East Bohemian Půta of Častolowitz. 1431 attracted Hussites of Hradec Králové on Týniště and burned the town. 1440 acquired Hynek Kruschina of Lichtenburg Týniště along with other East Bohemian estates of Anne of Kolditz, the Puta d J. In the second half of the 19th century Týniště became a railway junction. In 1874 the Austrian North Western Railway route from Prague to Hannsdorf and in the following year State Railway Company with the distance of half Chotzen after city in operation.
