Ubon Ratchathani University

The University of Ubon Ratchathani ( Thai: มหาวิทยาลัย อุบลราชธานี, English:. Ubon Ratchathani University, in short: UBU ) is a university in the northeastern region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

The University Ubon Ratchathani was launched in 1987 as a campus of the University of Khon Kaen in life and received in 1990 the status of an independent university.

The campus of the University is located about 15 kilometers south of the city of Ubon Ratchathani in the district ( Amphoe ) Warin Chamrap Ubon Ratchathani province and covers about eight square kilometers. There are about 3,500 students, most from the Issan of which date, particularly from the south and east of the region.
