Ukraine women's national volleyball team

The Ukrainian national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Ukrainian players, the Ukrainian Volleyball Federation represented in international tournaments and international matches. The team was founded in 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

History

World cup

Ukraine finished ninth at the Volleyball World Cup in 1994. Then they could not qualify.

Olympic games

In their only previous Olympic tournament, the Ukrainian women 1996 in Atlanta eleventh. For Beijing 2008, Ukraine failed to qualify.

European

DC at their first participation in the European Volleyball Championship abolished the Ukraine its greatest successes by defeating Italy in the match for third place. It was followed by two seventh places. 1999 lacked the Hungarians, 2001, they were fourth. The 2003 tournament, they finished ninth.

World Cup

Ukraine has not yet played in the World Cup.
