Union Township is one of 14 townships of Clermont County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in the year 2000 42.3352 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Union Township is located in the north-west of Clermont County in southwest Ohio, is located in the southwest around 5 km from the Ohio River and borders clockwise to the townships: Miami Township, Stonelick Township, Batavia Township, Pierce Township, Anderson Township, Hamilton County and Columbia Township (Hamilton County).

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
