Tate Township is one of 14 townships of Clermont County in the American, Ohio. According to the census in 2000 8935 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Tate Township is located in the southeast of Clermont County in southwest Ohio, is around 10 km to the south from the Ohio River and borders clockwise to the townships: Williamsburg Township, Pike Township, Brown County, Clark Township (Brown County), Lewis Township ( Brown County ), Franklin Township, Washington Township, Monroe Township and Batavia Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
