Unter weißen Segeln

Under white sails is, a six-part German film series that plays on the sailing cruise ships owned by Star Clippers. The first broadcast of the first film took place on 5 March 2004 on Das Erste.

Action

The films tell stories travel that take place as the capital of the plot on the three sailing cruise ships, Star Flyer, Star Clipper and Royal Clipper. Play a more important role in the excursions of the passengers who visit during their cruises to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and Asia.

The rather shallow actions revolve around love, sorrow, happiness, and the aspirations of the passengers. A central role of the captain and take a "cruise director " who act as caregiver to the passengers and are significantly involved in the plot.

At the root Cast in the supporting roles Peter Weck, Helmut Allium and Fritz Wepper and in the lead roles Christine Neubauer as Cruise Manager Marlene which their service on the Royal Clipper ceased to broadcast " farewell performance " and the items of the Cruise Manager at Gerit Kling alias Saskia has passed. From Episode 3, the role of the captain Bernd Jensen by Horst Janson is played.

The six episodes of the film series aired as a premiere each of the first and then repeated nationwide from different transmitters in part several times.

Director and Screenwriter

The Director in the previous episodes led Walter Bannert, Gero Erhardt, Erwin Keusch and Bernhard Stephan.

The scripts come from Knut Boeser, Thomas Hernadi, Gabriele Herzog, Wolfgang Limmer, Hartmann Schmige and Alexander Schuller.
