Ustyluh
Ustyluh (Ukrainian Устилуг; Russian Ustilug Polish Uściług ) is a city in the north-western Ukraine. Located on the River Bug place is located on the western border of the Volyn oblast.
Geography
The city is situated on the outskirts of the northwestern foothills of the Volhynian mountain country, on the right side of the Bug River.
The distances to major cities are: 8 km after Volodymyr- Wolynskyj, 15 km to Novovolynsk, 60 km to Kovel. The bug here is the western border of Ukraine to Poland ( Zosin ).
For the municipality also includes the villages Saluschschja 3 ( Залужжя ) Parchomenkowe ( Пархоменкове ) and Trostjanka ( Тростянка ).
Since 1979, the place also has a station on the railway line Volodymyr- Wolynskyj - Slawkow.
Attractions
Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky, the composer had an estate in Ustyluh and stayed here many times 1890-1914 for. Today, there is a museum.
