Val Mesolcina

The Misox (Italian Val or Valle Mesolcina ) is a valley in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.

History

The Sax ( de Sacco ) prevailed in the family Castello di Mesocco over the valley of Moesa and Calanca until 1480. This year, Giovanni Pietro de Sacco sold its sovereign rights to the Milanese generals Gian Giacomo Trivulzio.
