Valentin Iliev

Valentin Ivanov Ilijew ( Bulgarian Валентин Илиев Иванов, English transcription Valentin Iliev Ivanov, . Born August 11, 1980 in Knescha ) is a Bulgarian football player. The central defender is at Volyn Lutsk in the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha been under contract since summer 2012.

Career

Ilijew began in 1992 with the football at FC Botev Vratsa. There he rose in 1998 to the squad for the first team, which at that time was represented in the W AFG, the third highest Bulgarian division. After three years of Ukrainian club Metalurh Zaporizhia committed from the Wyschtscha Liha. In Zaporizhia Ilijew could not prevail, and came in three years, only 21 missions. He returned in 2004 back to Bulgaria and signed with CSKA Sofia giants. With CSKA he had the most successful period of his career. The 2004/05 season, the club finished as Bulgarian champion, where he was involved in more than half of the games. In the following years he was employed on a regular basis, but could not permanently establish himself as a regular player itself. In 2006 he won the Bulgarian Cup and in the seasons 2005/ 06 and 2006/ 07, the runner-up behind local rivals Levski Sofia.

During the winter break of 2007/ 08 Ilijew received an offer from Russian club Terek Grozny and moved to the Premjer League. In Terek he became a regular player and managed the club in both the 2008 season and in the 2009 relegation. After the season obliged him the Romanian first division side Universitatea Craiova. There could contribute in the second half of the 2009/10 three gates to the relegation of his team. After the tenth round of the 2010/11 season he was injured in a match against Wales, and was no longer in the first round to use. For the second half of the league competitor Steaua Bucharest took him under contract, but he came just four inserts, and so had only a small share of the Cup victory in 2011. During the season 2011/12 he became a regular player. After the season he left the club to the first division Volyn Lutsk Ukrainian.

Ilijew denied since 2005 to date and 23 games for the Bulgarian national football team.
