Valentina Shevchenko

Walentyna Shevchenko (Ukrainian Валентина Шевченко; born October 2, 1975 in Hanniwka, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) is a Ukrainian cross country skier.

Walentyna Shevchenko is a police officer and starts for Dynamo Kiev. She is married, has one child and lives in Brovary. Since 1989 she has been active. Her first big race she contested at the Junior World Championships in 1994 in Breitenwang, where the best placement, rank 19 was about 5 km, still no mention of the subsequent career. In January 1995, she was in Nové Město their debut in the Cross Country World Cup and was 60th in the 15 -kilometer race. Then it was first launched at the Universiade in Candanchú and in Thunder Bay at a Nordic World Ski Championships. With two big events they reached no appreciable results.
