Vasil Levski National Stadium (Bulgarian: Национален стадион " Васил Левски " / Nazionalen stadium Vasil Levski ) is a football and athletics stadium in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, and has a capacity of 43 632 seats, the largest stadium in the country. The competition venue was provided for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics, but failed to Bulgaria in 2006 with his application.

Named after the Bulgarian national hero Vasil Levski stadium opened in 1953 and renovated between 1966 and 2002. In 1957, the stadium was the venue for the European Basketball Championships. In addition to athletics events at the Vasil Levski National Stadium, especially football European Cup matches in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will take place. It is also the venue for the Games of the Bulgarian national football team and the finals of the national football cup competition.

The stadium provides the opportunity for judo, gymnastics, basketball, boxing and aerobics. It also has fencing, table tennis and fitness halls, two conference halls and three restaurants.

The predecessor of the Vasil Levski National Stadium was built in 1924 Yunak Stadium, from which the remains are found south-west near the present stadium.
