Veronica Hamel
Veronica Hamel ( born November 20, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is an American actress.
Life
Veronica Hamel graduated from Temple University and then worked as a secretary. Some time later she was discovered by Eileen Ford as a model. After her modeling career, she made her debut in the 1971 published and directed by Alan J. Pakula thriller Klute in a small supporting role as a model on the side of Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland on the canvas. However, her acting career did not begin until the mid-1970s with appearances in several television series such as The Rockford Files - Just call and Starsky & Hutch, and feature films such as hunting on the Poseidon and the day on which went under the world.
From 1981 to 1987 Hamel played a starring role in the television series Hill Street Blues. On the side of Daniel J. Travanti, Bruce Weitz and Joe Spano, she played the character of Joyce Davenport. For this she was nominated from 1981 to 1985 five times in a row as Best Actress in a Drama Series for an Emmy.
From 1971 to 1981 Hamel was married to Michael Irving.
