Vic Firth

Vic Firth ( born June 2, 1930 in Winchester, Massachusetts) is an American multi-instrumentalist and the founder of Vic Firth drumstick manufacturer. The company was founded in 1963 by him and named after him. Vic Firth is the production of 12 million Drumsticks annually to the world's largest manufacturer of drumsticks and mallets.

History

While Vic Firth 1963 as a musician with the Boston Symphony Orchestra was active, he was of the opinion that the drum sticks that were used at the time did not have the necessary processing quality.
