Vicente Guaita

Vicente Guaita Panadero ( born January 10, 1987 in Torrent) is a Spanish football goalkeeper, who is under contract at FC Valencia.

Career

Guaita went through the various youth teams of FC Valencia, before he took to the 2008/09 season the vacant place of the withdrawing Santiago Cañizares in the first team in Valencia. After Timo Hildebrand was banished from Coach Emery the whistle, Guaita was the number 2 behind Renan. His debut for Valencia he gave on 18 October 2008 at the UEFA Cup game against Marítimo Funchal.

As Renan injured himself in January at the game against Athletic Bilbao, Guaita had up to the 2:1 into the goal. The game was lost with 2:3 at the end with a penalty in the last minute. For this reason, Valencia was forced to get a new keeper, César Sánchez, so that Guaita was only the number 3 in Valencia. The 2009/10 season on loan at Recreativo Huelva played Guaita.

After the injuries of the two goalkeepers Cesar Sanchez and Miguel Angel Moya Guaita was the winter of 2010 to the new number 1 FC Valencia and was able to quickly establish itself as a regular player.
