Vieirinha (2010)

Adelino André Vieira de Freitas ( born January 24, 1986 in Guimarães ), better known as Vieirinha, is a Portuguese footballer.

Career

Association

He entered the age of eight for the first time in Vitória Guimarães against the ball and moved with fifteen years in the youth department of FC Porto. There he played in the second team and was awarded in the 2005/06 season to the second-rate FC Marco before him in the 2006/07 season promotion to the first team of FC Porto and he signed a four year contract. This Vieirinha was in his first season as a professional national champion.

After only one year in the first team of FC Porto he was awarded for one season at the Leixões SC. After this lending arrangement ended in 2008, Vieirinha was awarded again, this time. To the Greek first division club PAOK Thessaloniki to which he moved after the one-year loan contract in 2009

During the winter break of 2011/12 Vieirinha moved to German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg, where he signed a contract until 30 June 2015. On January 22, 2012 ( 18th Round ), he graduated as a striker against 1 FC Köln his Bundesliga debut. He had gone chipped in the game and was replaced at half-time against Sebastian Polter. His first Bundesliga goal he scored on March 9, 2013 in a 5-2 win against SC Freiburg 2-1 to intermediate per volley. On September 24, 2013, he suffered a torn ACL in the DFB Cup game against VfR Aalen.

National

After he was appointed for the first time in the national team as early as 2011, Vieirinha denied on March 22, 2013 World Cup qualifier against Israel under coach Paulo Bento his first international match.
