Vilanova d'Escornalbou

Vilanova d' Escornalbou is a Spanish municipality with 563 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the province of Tarragona in the south of the autonomous region of Catalonia.

Worth seeing are the medieval castle Monastir d' Escornalbou, which is located on the top of the mountain behind the village and the Castell d' Escornalbou, which is accessible via the nearby village Riudecanyes.

The nearest towns are important Reus, Cambrils and Tarragona.
