Vilija MataÄiÅ«naitÄ—
Vilija Matačiūnaitė (* June 24, 1986 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian pop musician.
Life
After graduation in 2005 at the Gymnasium in Užupis Vilija Matačiūnaitė worked as second director 's assistant in the film Diringas ( directed by Ignas Miškinis ), took part in the festival in Moldova and studied Real Estate Management at the Technical University of Vilnius, from 2006 Business Management at the University of Vilnius and then music the college Vilnius.
Matačiūnaitė drew media attention in 2005 after reaching the finals in the national preliminary to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2005, where she finished in seventh place. In the same year she was į one of the participants in the popular music reality show Kelias Zvaigzdes ( LNK), where she finished second. In 2010 she won second place in the dance reality show Kvieciu šokti. 2013 she won the music competition of LRT televizija. She was also a presenter at the show Romeo ir Džiuljeta of TV3.
After winning the Lithuanian preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 2014, they will be competing in Copenhagen with the self- composed song Attention.
