Vincent Bachet ( born April 29, 1978 in Saint- Maurice- le -Girard ) is a French former hockey player. From 2002 to 2014 he was the HC Amiens Somme last under contract.

Career

Vincent Bachet began his career as a hockey player with the Hockey Club de Reims, for the first team he made his debut in Ligue Magnus, the highest French league was in season 1996/97. In his rookie year he scoring five goals in 38 games and had two assists. The following season spent the defender at the Des Moines Buccaneers in the North American Junior League United States Hockey League, before he ran aground 1998-2000 for the hockey club de Caen in his native France. Then he returned to Reims, with whom he participated at European level in the IIHF Continental Cup in the 2000 /01 season and with whom he was French champion for the first time the following year. Despite the league title the club had to cease the operation of gambling for financial reasons and moved to HC Amiens Somme Bachet, for which he has performed since then and with whom he was again champion in 2004 at the end of the 2001/02 season. In Amiens, due to its many years of international experience, he was also first from 2005 to 2007 assistant captain and team captain since then. On February 26, 2014, the official career end Bachets was announced.

Internationally

For France Bachet took part in the U18 Junior B Championship in 1996 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 1996, 1997 and 1998 at junior level. In the senior level, he joined France in the B World Championships in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007, and the A World Championships in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. In addition, he was in the squad of his country at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City as well as the qualifying tournament for this review and qualify for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin. At World Championships Bachet was repeatedly assistant captain of France. Overall, he was from 1999 to 2013 in the A-team of his home country.
