Vitichi Municipality

The municipality Vitichi is a district in the Potosí Department in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Vitichi is one of two Municipalities in the province of Nor chichas. It is bordered to the north by the province of José María Linares, in the west and south by the municipality of Cotagaita, and on the east by the department of Chuquisaca. It extends over 45 km in east-west direction and 80 km in north-south direction. Administrative center of the municipality is the place Vitichi.

Geography

The municipality Vitichi located in the southern part of the barren plateau of the Bolivian Altiplano.
