Iulian Vlad Chiricheş ( born November 14, 1989 in Bacău ) is a Romanian football player. The center-back is since August 2013 in Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League under contract.
Career
At the age of 17 years Chiricheş moved to Portugal in the youth of Benfica. After a year he returned to Romania and internationally Curtea de Arges joined the League 2. In 2009 he went with his team in the Liga 1, the highest Romanian league, at. There he came in 15 games for use and managed to avoid relegation.
Since Chiricheş International received no approval for the 2010/11 season, he left the club and moved on to league rivals Pandurii Târgu Jiu. There he was able to establish itself as a regular player. In January 2012 he moved to record champions Steaua Bucharest. There he won the championship in 2013 with his first title.
On August 30, 2013 Chiricheş moved to the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur. On December 4, 2013 posted Chiriches also his first goal for Tottenham in the derby against Fulham.
National
In August 2011, coach Victor Piţurcă Chiricheş appointed in his squad for a friendly against San Marino and nominated him for the starting grid. Since then he belongs resistant to the squad as a regular player.
