Vladimir Radmanović

Vladimir " Radman " Radmanović (Cyrillic Владимир " Радман " Радмановић; * on November 19, 1980 in Trebinje, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian professional basketball player, playing on the position of the Small Forwards.

He played for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. He is often called Radman.

His parents are from Zadar in Dalmatia, but he is an ethnic Serb.

In February 2006, the Los Angeles Clippers Chris Wilcox exchanged for Vladimir Radmanović from the Seattle SuperSonics one. After a short time with the Clippers moved Radmanović to city rivals Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers could not quite convince as before with the Clippers. However, it managed Radmanović in the 2007/ 08 NBA season again to get into the starting five of the Lakers. In the same season he reached with the Lakers to the NBA Finals, where they failed in the end against the Boston Celtics with 2:4. For next season, NBA Season 2008/ 09, Vladimir was scheduled again for the starting five of the Lakers and was allowed to start the first 28 games. As Lakers Coach Phil Jackson sat on defensive and " Radman " is not known to defend strong, he lost his starting position to Luke Walton. So Radmanović got almost no play time, also because Phil Jackson prefer Trevor Ariza as a back -up began as Radmanović. Therefore him the Lakers were trading 7 February 2009 for Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown to the Charlotte Bobcats.

In 2001 Radmanović was appointed to the NBA All- Rookie Second Team.
