Výšovice

Výšovice ( German Waischowitz, also Wayschowitz ) is a municipality in Okres Prostějov in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

Geography

Výšovice is located about eight kilometers south of Prostějov and about 22 km south of Olomouc. The municipality has 464 inhabitants (2006) and covers an area of 5.92 km ² at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level.

History

The Good Waischowitz was first mentioned in the early 14th century.
