Walt Disney Parks and Resorts
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is the part of the Walt Disney Company, which is responsible for the planning, the construction and organization of all the theme parks and holiday resorts from Disney. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts is thus one of the four main units of the company.
The department of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts was founded in 1971 as the second Disney theme park, the Magic Kingdom opened at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney, a team was formed, which specialized in the maintenance of this park. Currently, there is China's second Disney park under construction: Shanghai Disneyland. The opening is planned for late 2015.
