The Wankhede Stadium is a cricket stadium in Mumbai, India. The name of the stadium goes back to the former president of the Indian Cricket Association (BCCI ) and politicians SK Wankhede. It was built in 1974 and served as the venue for the final of the Cricket World Cup 2011. Nor is the Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians used as a home ground.

Capacity and infrastructure

Use in IPL
