Geography
The Washington Township is located in Eastern Iowa about 20 kilometers west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois. The border with Wisconsin is located about 80 km north.
The Washington Township is located at 41 ° 54'43 " north latitude and 90 ° 28'50 " west longitude and extends over 82.9 km ².
The Washington Township is located in the center of Clinton County and is bordered to the north by the Waterford Township, in the northeast on the Deep Creek Township, on the east by the Center Township, to the south and southwest by the De Witt Township, on the west by the Welton Township and to the northwest by the Bloomfield Township.
